WHAT WE OFFER:
McLamb’s LP Gas & Supplies is equipped to:
- Sell, install and service gas appliances
- Make automatic monthly deliveries
- Repair and fill large cylinders and grill cylinders much more cheaply than the “exchange cabinets” commonly seen in convenience and big box stores
McLamb’s LP Gas and Supplies provides for:
- Residential – heat, dryers, stoves, generators, grills, water heaters, and RV refills
- Commercial – heat, cooking, generator, and forklift refills
- Farms – tobacco curing, forklift refills, greenhouses, hog houses, and poultry houses
WHY CHOOSE US?
- Automatic Delivery – Computer records are used to make timely deliveries for commercial, farm, industrial, and residential customers. Remote tank monitoring is provided for critical propane using customers.
- State licensed in gas piping, heating, air conditioning, and general contracting
- Tank leasing – many customers only use propane occasionally. For example, they may use their gas logs during the holidays or power outages.
We allow these customers to either lease or purchase tanks. Our lease fees are less than ½ the flat rate charges for minimum usage by phone, electric, water or natural gas companies.
The propane business is highly competitive. In recent years some companies have been adding what appears to be “new” fees to their delivery bills such as; stop charges, fuel surcharges, hazardous material charges or others.
When gas is billed per gallon, with these added fees, you are really paying more per gallon; for instance, if $10.00 in extra charges are added to a 100 gallon delivery, this adds $0.10 per gallon for the gas. We have no plans to bill for added fees.

WHAT IS PROPANE?
Propane, also known as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), LP gas and/or bottled gas, is stored as a liquid and is nontoxic, colorless, and normally odorless, though an odor (something like a rotten egg) is added for a clear detection of the gas. Typically stored as a liquid, propane is commonly used for space and water heating, cooking, transportation (called Autogas when used as vehicle fuel), farming, commercial business, and other purposes such as camping.
IS PROPANE SAFE AND CLEAN?
But you may be thinking, “Is this seemingly common fuel safe”? Yes, in fact, it is one of the safest types of fuel. It is guaranteed to be the cleanest fuel, high in reliability, accessibility, efficiency, and easily maintainable.

We all know that electricity is safe when used properly.
Propane is safe also, but it too, must be understood and used properly.
Propane is one of the cleanest fuels. It is easily stored, is reliable and efficient.

– Do not flip light switches, light a cigarette or use a cell phone

NATURAL DISASTERS:
In case of floods and high winds, make sure your tank is secure and upright.
If turned over, turn off service valve if it is safe to do so. Call McLamb’s
immediately. Do this if tank is ever disturbed.
If your piping systems including appliances, is ever exposed to high waters or
damaged in anyway, do not use then until the piping system is inspected.
