Ordering Your Door

  Determine your door size:
Combination Door Measurement
  • Remove wood trim on the inside of your door, the door will be in a wooden frame
  • Measure the height and width on the outside of the wooden frame
  • Example measurement: 34″ x 76″
Back door measurement
  • Measure the width and height of the door
Interior door measurement
  • Measure the width and height of the door
Storm door measurement
    • Measure the width and height of the storm door
Determine the “hand” of your door:
  • Stand outside your home, facing the door.
  • Observe which side the door hinges are located:- If the hinges are on the left, you have a left-hand door.- If the hinges are on the right, you have a right-hand door.
Decide on the window style for your desired door:
  • Raised 6-panel with no window (usually with a peep-hole and door knocker)
  • Doors with 9 lights (windows) – sometimes called “cottage doors”
  • Doors with half moon glass at the top – often called a “fan light”
  • Doors with a large oval window
  • Doors with etched glass design
  • Storm doors are available in full glass or with sliding window and screen
 

Door Material

  • Combo doors are made of long-lasting fiberglass. They come in a white finish that may be painted or stained
  • Back doors are made of steel. They come in a white finish.
  • Interior doors are made with wood edge and interior is filled. They come in a finished 6-panel white or flat surface in brown or white.
  • Storm doors are aluminum. They come in a white finish.
